CMC-NE Breast Health Program
Balance hosted an event to support the Breast Health Program for our community. We celebrated with a Girl's Night Out - we did yoga, drank wine, ate great chocolate, and recieved fabulous massage all the while raising money for a fantastic cause.
The Breast Health Center offers mammography services to all women in our community - even those without insurance. The center also provides services and care to women diagnosed and being treated for cancer. It's not your mother's mammogram anymore! Their work is helping to prevent the spread of the second leading cause of death to women. Check out the Breast Health Center at CMC-NE whenever you get a chance.
CVAN
Our local battered women's shelter provides an invaluable service to the women and children of Cabarrus County. By donating services, money, and time, Balance supports the mission of CVAN. The annual CVAN auction will be held in November 7th this year.
The Junior Charity League of Concord
Balance supports the endeavors of the Junior Charity League. The JCL of Concord clothes the least fortunate of the children in the Cabarrus County school system. They also provide a number of other social services, such as Safety Town, bingo for seniors in nursing homes, and many others. check out their site for more information or to get involved with there organization.
