Vinyasa: A challenging yoga series that will transform you body, mind, and spirit. In this class you will learn to integrate rhythmic breathing with conscious movement. Postures are linked in a dynamic, flowing sequence that is designed to cultivate heat, stamina, flexibility, and strength in the body.

Slow Flow/Deep Stretch:  A slow flow that allows the strengthening postures and stretches to be held for a longer period of time to increase endurance strength as well as flexibility.  This class is great for the athlete that needs to open tight and overused muscles.  It is a mixed level class that can accomodate beginners and advanced yogis alike.

Power: A flow class with emphasis on foundational postures and longer holds that allow for the full expression of postures and more advanced arm balances and inversions.  Beginners are welcomed and modifications will be provided.  This is a 90 minute class.

Beginner Basics:  A slower flow that will allow the beginner to learn the basic concepts of vinyasa in an hour long flow class.  Each week the class will break down a different aspect of the vinyasa flow.  Week 1: Sun Salutation A&B; Week 2: Warrior Series;  Week 3: Cresent Series and Balancing Postures; Week 4: Backbending and Abs; Week 5: Inversions; Week 6: Floorwork.  You will get a full class each time, more emphasis and information will be given on the week's postures.

Pre/Post-natal Yoga:  This class helps to strengthen the body for child bearing and aids in relieving the common discomforts the body experiences during this time.  Class also helps the pregnant mother find the time and space  to look within yourself, allowing you to openly explore your own intrinsic knowledge about the process of birth and parenting.  This is also the perfect class for getting back into shape after your baby is born.  The slow transitions and gentle postures help the postnatal mother balance the changes that are happening in her body.

Yin Yoga: Yin focuses on opening and releasing the connective, deep tissues in the body. Poses are held for 3-5 minutes for a greater opening in your practice.

Yin and Yang Yoga:  This class will incorporate both the stillness of yin and the movement of a yang flow.  A great class for athletes looking to increase flexibility and range of motion, while still finding some heated movement.

Gentle Yoga:  A flow based yoga class that will limit sustained holding in postures.  The slow gentle movement that can provide pain relief, relax stiff muscles and ease sore joints.

Hot Flow:  A typical vinyasa flow class offered in a heated room.  The temperatures of the room will reach 95-100 degrees.  The class is intended to flush the body of unwanted toxins and energizing the body.  Bring a towel and plenty of water to this class.

Ashtanga Series 1:  a system of yoga transmitted to the modern world by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois. This method of yoga involves synchronizing the breath with a progressive series of postures—a process producing intense internal heat and a profuse, purifying sweat that detoxifies muscles and organs. The result is improved circulation, a light and strong body, and a calm mind.
