Services and ClassesThank you for your interest in the wellness services at Balance. Here are a few things you should know before you come to visit. New to Spa? Arrive approximately 10 minutes early to fill out your intake form Plan for traffic, etc...we do not want you stressed out trying to make your relaxing treatment! Please turn off all cell phones when you enter the building. This is respectful to others enjoying services, and it also disconnects you with your external stresses so you can begin to relax. Relay all health information to your therapist to the best of your knowledge. This will help us help you to the best of our ability. Relay feedback before, during and after your treatment. This is your time and we want you to be as comfortable as possible with all treatments. Know that you will be properly draped during all services your modesty and comfort is our first concern. After treatments, drink plenty of water. This will aid in the elimination of toxins that build up in the body and are mobilized by bodywork. Follow up with your therapist and let them know what you thought. Constructive critisim makes us better practitioners!
New to Yoga? Wear comfortable, stretchy clothing that you are free to move in, but that is not too loose that it will get in your way. Leave your shoes and extra belongings in the baskets provided. Turn off cell phones before beginning practice. Bring water, a hand towel, and a mat to each practice. If you do not have a mat, we do have mats you can use but we highly encourage you to buy your own, which we have available for you to purchase. Let your instructor know about any health concerns or physical limitations before starting practice. Remember that this is your practice; leave expectations, competitiveness, and judgements at the door. This is your time to practice intentional nurturing of your body, mind and spirit. Take breaks when you need them. We do so much for our bodies in child! Give your instructor feedback on your class so we can try to meet all your yogic needs.
